Mr. Charles Edward Schildtknecht, 80, of Frederick, died Saturday, October 26, 2013. He is the husband of Ellen Irene (Beall) Schildtknecht. Born on August 1, 1933, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Russell and Mary (Jones) Schildtknecht. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Myrtle hane and husband George, Charles Schildtknecht and wife Lynn and Brian Schildtknecht and wife Vicky, sister, Patsy Beall, grandchildren, Keith Remsburg, Holly Remsburg, Shannon Howell and husband Conner, Jeffrey Schildtknecht, Garrett Schildtknecht and Ethan Schildtnecht and 7 step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am, on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel, at the funeral home. Rev. David Albertson will officiate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
