Robert Lee Ruthvin

Mr. Robert Lee Ruthvin, age 78 of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband for 50 years of Emily (Plunkard) Ruthvin. Born on October 5, 1935 in Frederick County, he was the son of the late John and Myrtle (Corum) Ruthvin. Mr. Ruthvin served in the United States Air Force. He was very proud to serve his country. He retired from EG&G located in Crystal City, VA where he had worked as a manger of the graphics department. In his free time he enjoyed all types of auto racing. Mr. Ruthvin is the father of Kimberly Dinterman and husband Mike of Keymar and Terri Ruthvin of Montgomery County, the grandfather of Jennifer, Shawn, Hope, and Gabriel, and the great-grandfather of 5. His is additionally survived by a special niece Mary Jane Honomichl and her two daughters Jill and Sherry. Friends will be received on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 1-2 p.m. at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick were services will begin at 2 p.m. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
