Richard Rikon

Richard H. Rikon (Rick) of Smithsburg, Md passed away on October 13, 2013 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Md. He was married to Joan Rikon for 48yrs. Born on June 27, 1941 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Morris & Evelyn Rikon. He worked for 35yrs with NIST in Gaithersburg, Md before retiring. In addition to his wife he is survived by son Brian & fiancee Angel, son David & fiancee Jennifer, grandchildren Ava, Courtney, Gavin and goddaughter April, brother Ralph, sister Joan Ottenstein, nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19th, between 1 and 3PM, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD.
