Eugene Lindell Souder

Born to Ebba Eugenia (Lindell) Souder & Paul Walter Ritchie Souder on 7-19-1930, Eugene Lindell Souder, Sr. died on December 1st, 2013. He is preceded in death by his brother, George & sister Ebba, and survived by his brother, Paul. He was the loving husband of 53 years to Merry Marjorie (Hull) Souder; the proud father of Cheryl Lynn Martin, Becky Lynn Souder & Eugene L. Souder, Jr.; grandfather to Sean & Justin Martin, Joanna Knorpp, Jake, Max & Caroline Souder, & great-grandfather to Connor & Keira Martin, all of whom he adored. A Washington D.C. native & 1949 Western High School graduate, he was a successful businessman owning a graphics & printing company in Bethesda for 28 years. He was later Chief of the Technical Services Unit, for NIMH. Retiring in Frederick, Gene will always be remembered for his great kindness and wit. A viewing will be held at 2pm at Keeney & Basford, Frederick, MD., Thursday, Dec. 5th, followed by a memorial service at 3pm.
