Mr. Gregg Allen Brake, 18, of Jefferson, died on Sunday, December 1, 2013, from injuries of an automobile accident. Born in Frederick on April 24, 1995, he was the son of Kim B. Brake, of Jefferson and Jami Kennedy Clevenger, of Gettysburg, PA and husband Keith. Gregg was a 2013 graduate of Thomas Johnson High School and the Career and tech Center. He had worked as an auto body technician. He was a member of the Brook Hill United Methodist Church and the Sons of the American Legion Squadron # 11, Surviving in addition to his parents is one sister, Megan R. Brake, of Jefferson, grandparents, James and Johnna Kennedy and George and Wyndham Brake, all of Frederick, aunts, Kara Kennedy and Terisa Brake, both of Frederick, and Nancy Burgoon and husband Josh, of New Market, cousins, Brian Burtner, Rachel and Sarah Burgoon. He will also be remembered by his great uncle, Norris Brake, of West Virginia, and his second family the Heavners. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Brook Hill United Methodist Church, 8946 Indian Springs Road, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, from the church. The Rev. Dana Werts and Rev. Gary Hicks, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brook Hill Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
