Gail Elaine Tager

June 24, 1957 — January 12, 2014

Ms. Gail Elaine Tager, 56, of Middletown, died Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. Born on June 24, 1957, in Takoma Park, she is the daughter of Elaine (Gately) Tager and the late Robert Tager. Gail was a Cash Applications Manager for ICF for many years. She enjoyed traveling abroad and was an avid tennis player. In addition to her mother, she is survived by sister, Denyse Lopez and brother-in-law Martin Lopez, brother, James Tager, niece, Christine Lopez, nephew, Andrew Lopez, special friend, Michael Binder, and many loving relatives and dear friends. Gail wanted to thank Dr. Daniel Laheru and the oncology staff and nurses, Ella Mae and Emily and all the support staff at Johns Hopkins Hospital (Weinberg Unit 4A). The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsviile Road, Middletown, MD 21769. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Community. Rev. Msgr. Robert Jaskot will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Gail Tager memorial fund c/o Dr. Daniel Laheru, Johns Hopkins Hospital, 1650 Orleans Street 4M09, Baltimore, MD 21287.
