Robert Wayne Crummitt

September 24, 1961 — January 21, 2014

Mr. Robert Wayne Crummitt, age 52 of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2014. He was the loving husband of Debbie Lynn Crummitt. Born on September 24, 1961 in Frederick he was the only son of Robert Leon Crummitt and the Late Barbara Jean Crummitt. Mr. Crummitt worked as a mason for Harold E. Brown Masonry for many years. When he was not working, he loved hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends. He was loved by many. Mr. Crummitt was the father of Dustin Robert Crummitt; the stepfather of Calvin Wayne Summers and Gregory Allen Summers; the grandfather of Blayne Allen Summers; and the son-in-law of Gerald and Bonnie Miller and Jamie and Carolyn Harris. He is also survived by his uncle Mark and Lois Virts. In addition to his mother, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents Evelyn and Dude Crummitt and Louise and Charles Lowell. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 1-3 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick were a memorial services will begin at 3 PM. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
