Chad Wayne Abshire, 31, of Frederick, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Born in Frederick on July 28, 1982, he was the son of Cathy Murphy Abshire and the late Thomas Wayne Abshire. Chad had an infectious smile and big heart that he enjoyed sharing with his family and many friends. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Surviving in addition to his mother, is one sister, Tara Edwards and husband John and their daughter, Maya Edwards, all of Martinsburg, West Virginia, grandmother, Margaret"Jimmie" Murphy, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by special friends, Joseph Geisbert and Larry Workman. His family and friends are invited to share his memory's from 1 to 4 p.m., on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
