Constance McGill "Connie" Eyler, 90, of Frederick, died on January 24 at Citizen's Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Eyler. Born on May 28, 1923 in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Turner McGill and Daisy Laycock Conner. After graduating from Brunswick High School in 1940, she commuted to Washington, DC to attend the Mabelle Honour School of Cosmetology to become a beautician, a career she greatly loved. She is survived by two daughters, Judith L. Eyler and pet Riley and Jenness B. Phoebus and her husband David, one grandson, Garth C. Phoebus and wife Erika and a great granddaughter Katalina Constance Phoebus. Also surviving is her best friend - her poodle Yvette. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Harry, two sisters, Mary Ellen Brubaker and Grace E. Conner, her husband and three loving pets, Penny, Gigi and Toto. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26 from 3-5 PM at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27 at 2:00 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
