Mr. Steven Edgar "Stevie" Flook, 60, of Frederick, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born on June 5, 1953, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Vernon M. and Dorothy P. (Shaff) Flook, Sr. He is survived by his brothers, Vernon Flook Jr. and Daryl Flook and wife Judy, sister, Darlene Kennedy and husband Terry, 6 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many special friends at Citizens Care and Rehabilitaion Center. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephews, Kenny Flook and Vernon Flook, III. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, January 30, 2014, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Rev. Dave Albertson will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy, 1825 K Street NW Suite 600, Washington D.C. 20006.
