Please check back for details. ***** Lillian Vesta (Long) Barthlow, 99 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on February 9, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Grayson Barthlow. Born December 9, 1914 in Howard County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clifford J. and Ethel I. Long. Lillian had worked as a press operator for Sagners Clothing Factory in Frederick. She was a member at the clubhouse at Crestwood and enjoyed reading and playing canasta. Lillian was survived by three sons, Wayne Barthlow and wife Doris, Richard Barthlow and wife Bernice, and Roger Barthlow and wife Jane; two daughters, Catherine Elaine Summers and husband Paul and Sandra Kelly; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In additional to her husband and parents, Lillian was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Barthlow; two daughters, Helen Droneburg and Delores Beach; four brothers Chester Long, Charles Long, Roland Long and Harley Long; and one sister, Ethel Irene Cecil. The family will receive friend from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Raymond Moreland will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Cemetery in Feagaville.
