Selma Lee (Layden) Poli, age 75 of Gaithersburg, Maryland and formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted mother of Laura Cholet (James); Robert Poli (Randi); Loving grandmother of Michael Cholet, Alexander Cholet, Bryn Poli, Zachary Poli and longtime companion of Thomas Proctor. Selma began her work career at Woodward and Lothrop and moved to government service as an administrative secretary for The National Institutes of Health and later a Division head secretary for The National Institute of Standards and Technology. Friends and Relatives will gather in remembrance of Selma at the home of Randi and Rob on Thursday, March 13th at 7 PM.
