Mrs. Victoria Cipriano Smith, 54, of Frederick, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at her residence. She was the wife of William Smith. Born July 22, 1959, in Glen Cove, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Ruth (Bauer) Cipriano. Vicki graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biology. She worked at Fort Detrick as a program administrator for 12 years and later as a pre-school teacher at the Frederick Church of the Brethren Learning Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a girl scout leader and biking with her husband. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Carly Smith and Alyssa Smith, sister, Cynthia Downing and husband Patrick, nephew, David Manning and niece, Shannon Downing. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, March 14, 2014, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Father Kevin Farmer will officiate.
