Mrs. Margaret Mae "Moaney" Reagan, 103, of Frederick and Washington, DC, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at her home in Frederick. She was the loving wife of the late William F. Reagan, Jr. Born in Washington, DC on February 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret May Weber Carter. Mrs. Reagan had worked for many years as a para legal secretary for a patent lawyer in Washington, DC. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved to crochet and was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan. Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Audrey Raley, four grandchildren, Tina M. Lee and husband John, William F. Reagan IV, Catherine Crocker and husband Kevin and Kelly Short and husband John, eight great grandchildren, Troy Garris and wife Tammi, Ben Garris, Angela Reagan, Sarah Bishop and husband Miles, Geoffrey Crocker and wife Christie, Brittany Short, Steven Short and Shannon Short, five great great grandchildren, Nathan, Caitlyn, Kayla, Taylor and Liam, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, William F. Reagan III,a grandson, Joseph Reagan and a great grandson, William F. Reagan V. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m., on Saturday, at the funeral home. Deacon Daniel Roff, will officiate. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Sunday, March 16, 2014, in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland. Those wishing to attend may meet at the cemetery.
