Wayne E. Baugher

June 30, 1955 — April 3, 2014

Mr. Wayne Eugene Baugher, 58, of Frederick, died on April 3 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville. He was the husband of Brenda (May) Baugher. Born on June 30, 1955, he was the son of the late Henry Lee Baugher and Violet Marie (Shores) Baugher. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Christopher Wayne Baugher and his wife Carly and Brian Eugene Baugher and his wife Leslie, as well as grandson Brady Christopher Baugher and granddaughter Willa Mae Baugher. He also leaves behind siblings Henry Lee Baugher, Jr. and his wife Patty, Leonard Daniel Baugher and his wife Melanie, Ethel Marie Ramsburg and her husband Junior and Linda Darlene Aylor and her husband Lewis. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his best friend Ronnie Magnus. Wayne was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was very handy and kept busy with various projects around his house and hunting antiques at local auctions. Wayne was married for 37 years and was a devoted family man. He enjoyed being out on the baseball field with his sons, Chris and Brian. Wayne also adored his beloved Dachshund, Charlie. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his two grandchildren "Brady-Boo" and "Willa-Woo". The family will receive friends on Monday, April 7 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 1:00 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home, The Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
