Neva Ann Mills

Neva Ann Mills, 73 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy. Born on May 9, 1940 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Thelma (Jenkins) Weidman. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Neva is survived by one son, Richard D. Mills of Frederick; one daughter Christina Mullenix and husband John of Chambersburg, PA; three sisters, Jenese Hupp of Frederick, Karol Akers and husband Herb of Frederick, and Susan Lindstrom and husband Ronald of Middletown; nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ross "Chuck" Mills III and Steven Mills and two brothers Derick and William Weidman. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 10-11 am at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Glade Cemetery in Walkersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
