Mrs. Christine Shannon, 90, of Ijamsville, died on July 12, at her residence. She was the wife of Warren Shannon. Born on July 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Picchiello and Sarah LaRocca Picchiello. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Shannon is survived by her sister, Carol Orlando, niece Dr. Carol Orlando and nephew Dr. Thomas Orlando. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 116 E. Second Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 17 from 5-7 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be on Friday, July 18 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery, 4902 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377.
