William Notnagle Sr.

November 17, 1969 — July 12, 2014

William Richard "Billy" Notnagle Sr., 44 of Frederick, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his residence. Born on November 17, 1969, he was the son of the late Emil Richard and Dolores Jean (Roelke) Notnagle. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Frederick. Billy worked as a self-employed roofer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and hanging out with his friends. He is survived by his daughter, Heather R. May; two sons, William "Billy" Notnagle Jr. and Cody Notnagle; girlfriend, Tina Aletich; four sisters, Sherri Hamm and her late husband Gordon, Cindy Notnagle, Dorothy Taylor and husband Tay and Helen Tyerar and husband Ralph; brother-in-law, John Marcus, and his nieces and nephews, Justin and Mary Grace Cutsail, Tayla Taylor, Shane and Tasha Marcus, Terry, Ashley and Ryan Tyerar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Marcus. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2-4pm, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be private.
