Ms. Cheryl Elaine (Clingan) Fagan, 70, of Frederick, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Rock Springs Village Assisted Living, Forest Hill. Born June 25, 1944, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Reno T. and Esther R. (Mackley) Clingan Sr., and sister of the late Bonnie King (Ray). Ms. Fagan is survived by her daughter, Sheila FitzGerald (Chip Brandenburg), son, Sean Fagan (Heather Frantz), grandchildren, Liam FitzGerald, Kieran FitzGerald, Darby FitzGerald, Jordan Fagan, Bradley Fagan, Alexa Fagan, Cassidy Fagan and Grace Fagan and brothers, Reno Clingan Jr. (Diane) and Charles Clingan (Debbie). The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. A memorial service will follow at 7:30PM, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel, at the funeral home. The Rev. Gordon De La Vars will officiate. Inurnment will be private.
