Mrs. Sandra Lee Foland, 72, of Frederick, died on August 8 at her home. She was the wife of the late Donald Leroy Foland. Born on December 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Tyeryar and Emma Elaine Tobery. Sandra was a longtime employee at Brown's Store in Frederick. She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a very kind person. Mrs. Foland found great pleasure in spending time with friends and family, vacationing at the beach, shopping and most of all, in watching her grandchildren growing up. Mrs. Foland is survived by her children, Don Curtis Foland and his longtime girlfriend Pauline Beard and Janice Grams and her husband Timothy of Fairfield, PA, grandchildren Kelly Paxton and her husband Robert, Sr., Nicholas Grams and Jasmine Grams as well as great-grandchildren Robert Jr., Glenda and Gabriella. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Terry and Darlene Kennedy, Jerry Kennedy, Sherry Sprinirth and Joann Lininger and her husband Wayne as well as extended family members Eileen Devilbiss, Richard Foland and his wife Jane, Shriley Lantz, Phyllis Gue, Marion Foland and many nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her step-father Joseph Kennedy and brother Wayne Kennedy. She will also be missed by her 'breakfast friend' Margaret as well as by special friends Pam and Ronnie Marshall. The family also wishes to give a special thanks to niece Dorothy Castle. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 10:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
