Mrs. Eloise Catherine Clem, 96, of Frederick, died on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born in Feagaville on September 19, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Merhl Randolph and Maude Isabelle Stull Moore. Mrs. Clem had worked for over 20 years at the Hendrickson's Department Store as a sales cashier, where she enjoyed her work and made many friends. She is a chartered member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She was the matriarch of her family and loved to discuss genealogy. She found great pleasure in receiving visits, mail and phone calls from her relatives and friends. She loved to read, sew and was an avid Orioles fan. Surviving her are her children, Bernard Clem and wife Yuan, of Frederick, and Jann Ernest and husband, Guy, of Fayetteville, GA, one brother, James Moore and wife Anna, of Mountaindale, a sister-in-law, Alma Moore, of Frederick, three grandchildren, Blain Clem and wife Kim, Matthew Ernest and wife Jennifer and Sarah Juarez and husband Manuel, great grandchildren, Kyle Clem, Cameron Clem and Carmen Juarez, and many special nieces and nephews. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Sandy Johnson and Patricia Guarneri for their compassion and friendship. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Randolph, Harold, Arthur and Thomas Moore, Evelyn Green, Julia Gearinger and Betty Baker, her daughter-in-law, Patricia Clem and grandson, Troy Clem. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, August 14, 2014, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Stacey Brady, will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
