Mr. George Gary Taylor, 75, of Monrovia, died Monday, August 25, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly C. (James) Taylor. Born August 12, 1939, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Daniel and Irene (Gorsuch) Taylor. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his son, Gary Taylor, daughters Terry Stern and Irene Beltz; grandchildren, Casey Stern, Jamie Stern, Timmy McDermott, Megan Beltz, Ryan Beltz and Julia Taylor and great-granddaughter, Kayleigh McDermott. George is predeceased by his daughters, Cindy Taylor Wingfield and Lisa Lynn Taylor. Arrangements are being made by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Community, 4103 Prices Distillery Rd. Ijamsville, MD 21754. Father Michael Jendrek will officiate. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared to the church at the above address.
