Mrs. Anne Strother Boyer, 84, of Frederick, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Walkersville. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Boyer, who preceded her in death in 2009. Born April 8, 1930, Fort Royal, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Agnes S. Lindsay. Anne is survived by son, Robert D. Boyer II, daughter, Jennifer A. Boyer, sisters, Louise S. Hillock and Patricia L. Hilliard and husband Ernest, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9pm, on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, on Friday, September 19, 2014, at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Rd., Walkersville, MD 21793. Msgr. Richard Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Woodsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick Co., P.O. Box, 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
