Mrs. Mildred Naomi DeGrange Kehne, 93, of Ijamsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 8. 2014, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph D. Kehne, who died in 2005. Born in Ijamsville, on October 12, 1920, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Myrtle Hargett DeGrange. Mildred was retried from the Frederick County Public Schools where she worked for 29 years as secretary at the New Market Elementary School and retired in 1984. She was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1938 and she was a long time member of the Ijamsville United Methodist Church. Surviving her is one daughter, Janice Ohler, of Ijamsville, two grandsons, Douglas Brown and Suzanne, of Williamsport and Chrisdale Ohler and Peggy, of Knoxville, four great grandchildren, Michael Brown, Erica Ohler, Conner Ohler and Nolan Wickless, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Darrel Kehne, two brothers, Irving and Grayson DeGrange, and one sister, Dorothy DeGrange. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, October 10, 2014, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 11, 2014, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Philip Tocknell, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
