Dr. Robert Lee Schricker, 86, of New Oxford, PA, died Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Hanover Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen Harwood Schricker, who preceded him in death in 1988. Born June 28, 1928, in Davenport, Iowa, he was the son of the late John Raymond and Hertha Schricker. Dr. Schricker is survived by his son, William "Bill" Schricker and wife Jean, daughters, Nancy McAuliffe and husband David and Joan Helman and husband Jack, grandchildren, Raymond Schricker, Daniel Schricker, David McAuliffe and Katie McAuliffe, brother, David Schricker and wife Jeri, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am, on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will follow at 11:00AM, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel, at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Eric T. Myers will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
