Jeannine Ann (Toman) Salmon of Homewood at Frederick, MD, daughter of the late Fred and Catharine (Henry) Toman, born in Schenectady, NY on December 19, 1933, died on October 22, 2014. She is survived by her husband, The Rev. A. Dickerson Salmon, Jr. They were the parents of four children: Michael John Salmon (Cameron Soulis), Abraham D. Salmon, V (Charlotte Salmon), Mary Catharine Salmon Rose (Chris Clayton), and John Timothy Salmon (Mary Salmon). She is also survived by three grandchildren: Catharine Ruth Salmon, David Brinton Salmon, and Logan Marie Salmon. Survivors also include two brothers, Arthur Fred Toman of Ocala, FL, and Sterling Putman Toman of New London, NH, several cousins and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Salmon was educated in the public school system in Binghamton, NY, where she resided until her marriage on September 8, 1956. She and her husband then moved to Evanston, IL, where her husband completed his seminary education. Following his ordination as an Episcopal priest, they lived in Guilford, NY, Brunswick, MD, Frederick, MD, and Haverhill, NH, where they lived in retirement from 1992 to 2005. They then moved to Homewood at Frederick. She was a graduate with honors from Hood College, Frederick, MD, where she also was employed for several years. Following Cremation, a Memorial Eucharist will be celebrated at the Church of the Transfiguration, 6909 Maryland Avenue, Braddock Heights, MD, on Saturday, October 25 at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. The Rev. Dr. Gordon J. De La Vars will officiate.
