Mrs. Sue Ann Baker Roderick, 66, of Frederick, died suddenly on Monday, October 27, 2014, at her home. She was the wife of the late Gary R. Roderick, who died in 2006. Born in Frederick, on July 3, 1948, she was a daughter of Pauline Smith Baker, of Frederick, and the late William E. Baker. Sue was employed with the Frederick County Public Schools and had worked at the Linganore High School. She was a member of the Francis Scott Key American Legion Post 11 Auxiliary, bowling league in Mt Airy know as the Misfit's, enjoyed playing bunco and she was involved with the secret pals. Surviving in addition to her mother are four children, Jason R. Roderick and wife Laura, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Shelley D. Roderick and husband Abe Falcone, of State College, PA, Katie R. Payne and husband James, of Westminster, and Natalie L Roderick and Patrick Bartholow, of Charles Town, West Virginia, one sister, Judy T. Wright and Paul, of Middletown, nine grandchildren, Adrianne and Annabelle Roderick, Sequoia, Everest and Kailani Falcone, Sebastian Gisin, Savannah Payne, Raven Roderick and Orion Bartholow, two nephews, Greg and Chad Wright. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, October 31, 3014, at the funeral home. Father Walter Burgess, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
