Betty Lorraine Bradley, 82, of Hancock, died on Friday, October 31 at her residence. She was the wife of Ralph Carmelo Bradley, Sr. Born on May 1, 1932, she was a daughter of Thomas Rohrbach Main and Ruth Ellen May Main. Mrs. Bradley was employed for a number of years as a cashier for A & P Supermarket. Before her move to Hancock, she was a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Frederick. Betty belonged to the Montevue Auxiliary, Lionesses of Hancock and also attended Damascus Christian Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA. She greatly enjoyed gardening, sewing, family and most of all, cooking for her family dinners. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Ralph Carmelo Bradley, Jr.; daughter Vicki L. Bradley and husband Fred Spencer, as well as 4 Grand-Children: Ruth Bradley; Amy Wilson and husband Dave; Mary Blevins and husband Chris; and Ralph Carmelo Bradley, III and wife Lauren. She is also survived by 14 Great-Grand-Children: Hayden Hobson, Colin, Evey and Connor Wilson; Wyatt Blevins; Ralph Carmelo IV, Landon and Hunter Bradley, as well as Rylan and Leah Good; Lauren and Jenna Saxmann, and David Leonard and Christian Sword. Betty is also survived by sisters Mary Jane Chevalier; Blanche Mossburg; Ruth Muldoon and husband James; Dorothy Grimes and husband Tom, as well as sister-in-law Minnie Main. Betty also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, including very special niece and nephew Jamie and Ralph Tammariello and their daughter Alexandra. Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Linda Lee Bradley, great-grandchild Lily Christine Blevins, brothers Nelson Main, Richard Main, and Robert Main and brothers-in-law Earl Chevalier and Bernard Mossburg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 4 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at which time services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
