Kevin J ."Tex" Pulsipher, 37, of Middletown, MD passed away Thursday Nov. 20, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the adoring father of Jacob Pulsipher and former husband of Shannon Pulsipher. Born Dec. 3, 1976 in Burbank, CA he was the son of the late Barbara Bruttig. Tex attended Woodbridge High School in Irvine, CA. He joined the U.S. Army when he was still a teenager. Tex is known for his big smile and hearty laugh. He had a powerful presence and was always the life of the party. He had many friends and loved them all. Tex was a hard worker and took pride in his work as a technician with Net 100 and Verizon. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his son, Tex is survived by his closest and dearest friends; Dana Gorham, Salisbury, Brian Hoffman, Williamsport, Susan Winpigler, Frederick, Nikki Furman, Frederick and Lisa Henley, Braddock Heights. His family includes aunt and uncle, Steve and Bonnie Bruttig in Nebraska, his brother Dan Pulsipher and wife Vivian, in California, his sister , Kristin Gilbody and husband John, in Florida and cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm on Sunday December 7 at Benevola United Methodist Church, 19925 Benevola Church Rd. Boonsboro, MD 21743. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his son, Jacob Pulsipher, 315 S. Jefferson St., Middletown, MD 21769.
