Frances Schultz Mumaw

Mrs. Frances M. Schultz Mumaw, 91, of Frederick, died on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the Sunrise Assisted Living Community, Frederick. Twice married she was the wife of the late Robert J. Schultz, who died in 1994 and Charles Mumaw, who died in 2009. Born in Walkersville on May 25, 1923, she was a daughter of the late David and Mildred Droneburg Fox. She was a graduate of Frederick High School. During WW II she had worked for Bendix Radio and she was retired from the H. L. Hartz Clothing Factory, where she worked as a shipping manager. Surviving her are six children; Carol Walters and husband Ronald, Sherry Effenberger and husband Chris, Barbara Forney and husband Thomas, David "Mickey" Schultz and wife Bonnie, Robert Schultz and wife Debbie, Edward Schultz and wife Kathy, 18 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, one brother, William Fox, one sister, Mabel Anderson and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m., on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the funeral home. Rev. Lynn Wilson, will officiate. Private inurnment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
