On the 28th Day of November 2014, Ronald Louis Evans Sr., 80, of Ijamsville, MD, was received by our Lord Jesus Christ. Born the 11th of January 1934 in Covington Kentucky, he was preceded in death by his parents Joseph R. and Thelma M., and brother, Claire F. Evans. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Elizabeth Anne and his children, Carolyn, Margaret, Philip and Ronald Jr. and their respective spouses Bill, Steven, Eva and Shelly. He was "Papa" to Megan, William, Emily, Caitlin, Charles, Sean, Louis, Joseph, and Leland; Great Grandfather to Trent, Yazmine, Pilar, Skylar, Mia, Jason, Kaylee, and Remington. Ronald was proud of his service in the Unites States Marine Corps and was very patriotic. He was an avid boater and loved deep sea fishing and he was Past Commodore of White Rocks Yacht Club. Ron's expertise in the field of control panel instrumentation and design empowered him to create a successful business. Ron's confidence, work ethic and passion for life passed a living legacy unto his family whom he loved so dearly. Dad's flair for entertaining and his love of music guaranteed that our celebrations were always a good time. His optimistic spirit will continue to live within us all. We will miss you Dad. We love you. The Family will receive visitors at Keeney & Basford P.A. Funeral Home 106 East Church Street Frederick, Maryland on Tuesday December 2nd from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday December 3rd at 11AM in the same location, Father Michael Jendrek officiating.
