Helen Marie Fitze

Mrs. Helen Marie Fitze, 85, of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at the Kline Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Elmer Fitze. Born in Jefferson on August 6, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Ruth Heffner Stine. She had worked most of her life in housekeeping having worked at the Washingtonian Hotel and Buckeystown Inn. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Surviving are her five children, Virginia Brown, Alvin Fitze, Donald Fitze, Shirley Dascher and Linda Blake, step daughter, Esther Crummitt, one sister, Blanche Rhoderick, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 8, from the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Elder Tim Moser, will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kline Hospice House, 7700 Kimmel Road, Mt.
