Mrs. Rosemary Barishek, 89, of Frederick, a resident of Country Meadows, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph John Barishek, who died on April 10, 2001. Born in Albany, New York on October 19, 1925, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary O'Hagan. She started working for the Goverment Printing Office and later retired from the University of Maryland. She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Marine Corp Auxiliary and was very active with many events at Country Meadows. Surviving are her two daughters, Carol A. Rollison of Middletown, MD, Linda McNabb (Jerry) of Filion, MI, one brother, Joseph O'Hagan (Ann) of Selbyville, DE, five grandchildren, Michelle Gamba, Micheal Rollison (Zarah), Justin Rollison (Kimberly), Jennifer McNabb and Jane Kovicak (Rob). She also has seven great grandchildren, Owen and Cole Gamba, Brooke Rollison, and James and Julia Rollison, Jack and Nathan Kovicak, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Del Rollison, her brother, James O'Hagan and sister, Joan Waters.. A memorial mass will be held at11 a.m., onFriday, December 12, 2014, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick. The Rev. Kevin Farmer, will officiate. Private interment will take place later in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
