In 1996, the husband and wife team sold the travel agency, and Jack embarked on a successful real estate career, which he continued through the remainder of his life. Jack was at his happiest spending time with his family; whether visiting the Kennedy Center for a show with his wife, watching his granddaughters' ballet recitals or simply doling out advice during a family dinner.
