Clara M. Lyerly

Clara M. Lyerly, born August 15, 1912, died December 12, 2014. She spent her childhood in the borough of Wampum, Pennsylvania and was married for 50 years to Herman Lyerly who predeceased her. She resided in Washington, DC. Clara enjoyed a full life that included traveling to western and eastern Europe. She is survived by her two daughters and two sons, Greta, Audrey, Maurice and Gregory, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. There will be a 1:00 p.m., grave site service on Wednesday, December 17 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, Frederick.
