Bertha (Sue) Delores Hahn Betson, 91, was called home to her Lord on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Sue was the wife of the late Constant W. Betson who preceded her in 2002. Born on March 25, 1923 in Frederick, Maryland. Sue was the eleventh child and the last surviving of fifteen children born to the late William Stephen Hahn and Nellie Irene Geisinger Hahn. Sue went peacefully and was surrounded by all four of her children. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Frederick. Sue is survived by her four children, Vicki (Gary) Snyder, Sheilda (Nelson) Bryner, Dennis (Theresa) Betson, and Donna (Gregory) Elbert. Ten Grandchildren, William (Brianne) Blank, Shani Blank, Traci (Wayne) Hancock, Stephen (Christine) Snyder, Nathan and Nicholas Elbert, Heatherlyn Inez Betson, Brad, Katie, and Kari Betson. Dawn (Jay) Byrnes, Denise (Edward) Tuttle, Danielle (Todd) Kaetzell, Donald (DJ) Bucci, Great Grandchildren, Corrine and Collin Lloyd, Reese Blank, Taler Williams, Jaxson Snyder, Trey and Harper Hancock, Sebastian and Eleanor Border, Sarah and Michael Byrnes, Eddie and Gavin Tuttle, Austin, Brennan, Ella and Hunter Kaetzell, and one Great-Great Grandson, Kinley Lloyd. Tommy Ward was her dear friend and companion. The family would like to express our gratitude and thank Tommy for his love and care of her over the last several years. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Maude Shank, Agnes Smith, Catherine Strube, William Hahn, Jr., Edward Hahn, Roland Hahn, Marrietta Kinsey, Clythnia DeLashmutt, , Melvin Hahn, John Arthur Hahn, Caroline Routzahn, Donald Hahn, Nellie Anne Hahn, John Frances Hahn. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2:00-4:00pm at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, 21701. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 22 Etchison Memorial Chapel located at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. Father Earl Mullins from All Saints Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick immediately following the service.
