Marian Caroline Hahn

Mrs. Marian Caroline Hahn, 89, of Lakeland, FL., longtime resident of Thurmont, died on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Allan Lee Hahn, who died February 8, 1994. Born August 7, 1925, in East Penn Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Calvin W. and Lizzie Haberman Hahn. She and her husband owned and operated Hahn's Drive In at Catoctin Furnace, for many years. They retired to Florida in the 1980's. She is survived by two children, Diane Elizabeth Oxendale, of Thurmont, and Richard Allan Hahn, and wife, Mary Anne, of Thurmont; four grandchildren, Colleen Ford, Kelly Johnson, Whitney Hahn, Callan Hahn; six great-grandchildren, Brendon Ford, Lachlan Ford, Emma Ford, Marshall Hahn, Alexander Hahn, Brady Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Oxendale. She was the last of her immediate family. There will be no visitation or services. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Myer, Virginia. Keeney and Basford P.A. Funeral Home, Frederick, is in charge of arrangements.
