Kenneth Eugene Kanode

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Kanode, 77, of Frederick, died on December 27 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann Morgan Kanode, who died on July 1, 2002. Born on July 14, 1937, he was the son of the late Arnold Franklin Kanode and Margaret Crouse Kanode. Mr. Kanode was a member of the Frederick Fraternal Order of Eagles #1067 and of the Antique Car Club of America. He is survived by his sister, Jackie Keyser and half sisters Sarah Vaughn and Jane Hahn and half brother Charles Hahn as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by half siblings Lewis Hahn, Hassey Kanode and Joan Hahn as well as brothers in law Ellis Keyser and Bob Vaughn. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2 from 10:00 to 12:00 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held immediately following. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
