Mr. Francis C. Windsor, Jr., 66, of Frederick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at his home. He was the husband of Linda Koogle Windsor, they had been married 44 years. Born in Washington, DC on June 20, 1948, he was a son of the late Francis C., Sr., and Elva Lincoln Windsor. For 35 years he had worked as a truck driver for the Frederick Trading Company and Food Pro. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a die hard Eagles fan and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping. country music and spending time with his family and friends and will be missed and loved always. He also loved his special dogs, Jasmine and Patch. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Eric L. Windsor and Delma, Denise M. Rudegeair and Edward, Brian K. Windsor and Melissa, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Windsor, two sisters, Gloria Chonka and Marilyn Zayas, several nieces and nephews and his aunt, Carolyn Hayes. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl B., Marvin E., and Ronald A. Windsor. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Monday, January 5, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, January 6, at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. Robert Driver-Bishop, will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery, Jefferson.
