Mrs. Betty Isabel Moss Yinger, 85, of Frederick, went to be with her heavenly father on January 8, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles William Yinger, who died in 1982. Born on March 12, 1929 in Brownsville, MD, she was the daughter of Ira Moss and Hattie Cochran Moss. She was the last of her immediate family, being predeceased by her 8 siblings. Mrs. Yinger was a graduate of Boonsboro High School and received an Associate's Degree from Frederick Community College. She was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren, where she led Christian Education and was a Bible School Coordinator. Betty was also involved with Christ Quest Sunday school and was a caretaker for El Shaddai Congregation's children. She married her husband, Charles, on a blind date after World War II. He was a disabled American Veteran that lost his legs in the war, and she was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary. Betty was an avid gardener and a bird lover. She was especially fond of her bird Tweety. She was a wonderful and caring mother who taught her children the same. She will always be a valuable keepsake and will live on in her children's hearts. Betty is survived by her children, Charles David Yinger and wife Susan, Pamela Sue Haupt and husband Wayne, Donna Jean Heffner and Kenneth Lee Yinger; 7 Grandchildren, Tammy Biggerman, Kenneth Klipp Jr.William Heffner IV, Amy Dorsey, Reggie Yinger, Andrea Mauck, and Zachary Yinger as well as 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Avenue, Frederick. Services will be held immediately following visitation times at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick..
