Roy Lee Johnson

Roy Lee Johnson, 85, of Hagerstown, Maryland entered into Eternal Rest on January 6, 2014.Born January 29, 1929 in Warren, Arkansas. He was the son of the late George and Birdie Johnson. He was the loving, devoted husband of Sarah (Liz) for over 60 years. After graduating high school, Roy served four years in the National Guard. He worked as a photographer and as a retail manager for over 35 years. He loved traveling and photography. He won a number of ribbons at the fair for his work in photography. In the past few years, he enjoyed word search puzzles and traveling through Hagerstown on his motorized wheelchair. In addition to his wife, are son Robert and his wife Lovettia of Keymar, MD. Five grandchildren-John, Jennifer, Skip, Chris and Matt. Nine great granchildren and four great-great grandchildren. All funeral arrangements are private.
