Brian Douglas Sant Angelo, 41, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home. Born on April 3, 1973, he was the son of Michael Joseph Santangelo and the late Nancy Jean Geraci Santangelo. Brian graduated from John Hopkins University master's program and worked as the Senior Business Development Officer at Export-Import Bank of the United States. In addition to his father, Brian is survived by his brother, Gregory Michael Santangelo and wife Sarah; his sister, Karen Lynn Santangelo; and his nieces, Lauren and Melissa Santangelo and nephew, Vincent Santangelo. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, Maryland 21701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 3, at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 E. 2nd Street, Frederick. Father Keith Boisvert of Saint Katherine Drexel will celebrate. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 110 Kenilworth Drive, Suite 202, Baltimore, MD 21204.
