Mr. T. Brian Julian, 62, of Jefferson, MD took his last breath on this earth surrounded by the laughter and tears of his loving family on Wed., February 4, 2015, at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington D.C. He was the husband of 37 years to Diane (Dennis) Julian. Born in LaPlata, MD on March 12, 1952, he was the son of the late Claire and late David Ray Julian. Brian graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in 1970. He had quite a variety of job experiences including Montgomery Ward, Eastalco Aluminum Co., Walmart, Jeanne Bussard, GoodWill Industries, Way Station, Inc. and most recently Mountain Manor Treatment Center. Brian was also the owner and operator of J's Cleaners of New Market and Libertytown. He was proud to have completed his Associate of Arts degree from FCC and walk across the stage in May 2014. After retirement, Brian volunteered for Frederick County Health Dept. for the CORE program held at the All Saints' Episcopal Church in Frederick. In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his brother-in-law, Don Dennis and his partner Diane Paul of Doylestown, PA, niece Kari Kohn and husband Josh of Bryn Mawr, PA, nephew, Kyle Dennis and his wife Meghan of New Hope, PA, Brian's father's second wife Maxine Julian of Durant, OK, great-nephews Eddie and Alex Kohn, great nieces Maggie and Emily Dennis, cousins from Oklahoma to New England and a special second mom, Nancy Sexton of Frederick, MD. Brian also leaves, in care of Diane their 2 dogs, service dog, Pippi Longstocking and his crazy bullterrier, Katy. Brian was a friend of Bill W and will be greatly missed by the Early Bird Group meeting at the Frederick Presbyterian Church and the Spirituality Group meeting at the Club in Frederick. Brian was very proud of his 19 and half years clean and sober and his service to help others maintain a life that is happy, joyous and free. Brian was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jefferson, MD where he was a member of their Sunday School band. Brian was also a member of the Yellow Springs band and a former member of the Rohrersville Marching Band. Brian's instrument was the tuba which he played in the TJ band in high school as well as in many of Frederick's Tuba Christmas concerts. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3864 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD 21755. Rev Katrina Holland will officiate.
