She enjoyed antiquing and attending auctions throughout the east coast, and collected decorative silk hand fans as well as antique cigar boxes. Ultimately, Sandy found her home in the antique industry in Frederick, Maryland, where she was the general manager at Antique Imports for many years. Most recently, she opened the Loft at AI, which encompassed several floors in one of the largest buildings in downtown Frederick. As the President and CEO of the Loft at AI, Sandy realized her dream of owning her own business by creating a unique business model which included a design studio, wall coverings and fabrics, antique and designer furniture, and extensive home furnishing accessories.
