Ellen Pearl Fronzoli

February 2, 1922 — February 6, 2015

Mrs. Ellen Pearl Fronzoli, 93, of Mount Airy, went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daphno "Clark" Fronzoli, who died in 1993. She was born Feb 2, 1922, in Johnstown, PA, and was a daughter of the late Milton and Pearl Irwin Hanson. Ellen spent her earthly days as a devoted mother and mentor to all of her children. During her nearly a century of life, she made it a point to ensure that her family always came first. Her most treasured moments were always times that she could spend with her children, grandchildren and extended family. Ellen was a long time member of the Wesley Grove United Methodist Church in Damascus where she taught Sunday school for many years in addition to participating in numerous church activities. She is survived by five children: Sandy Eash and husband Dave, Tarris Fronzoli and wife Carol, Timmy Fronzoli and wife Kathy, Louann Livengood and husband Gary, Keri Benton and husband Jim as well as 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Shanholtz; and grandchild, Elizabeth Evans. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2pm on Friday, February 13 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E Church Street, Frederick, where funeral services will begin at 2pm. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Hospice & Palliative Center, 400 W 7th St, Frederick, MD 21701.
