Barbara Dorcus Kreh

Mrs. Barbara Dorcus Kreh, age 98, of Frederick, died on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was the wife of the late William Brace Kreh who died in October of 2007. They were married sixty nine years. Born on May 21, 1916 in Woodsboro, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. Dorcus and Lola Dudrear Dorcus. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Elizabeth Kreh and her sister, Joann Dorcus Kehne. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased in death by her brothers John, Robert and Michael Dorcus. Surviving are one niece and five nephews. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11 am on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The funeral service will begin at 11 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702 or to the Frederick County Humane Society, 550 Highland Street, Suite 200, Frederick, MD 21701.
