Adam Lee Taylor On the morning of Saturday, February 7, 2015, Heaven gained a new angel and shining star. Adam Lee (Chop) Taylor passed peacefully into his Heavenly Father's Arms and to his waiting family who have went on before him. Adam died of injuries sustained from an automobile accident on January 21st. Born on February 12, 1988, he was the son of Roy H. and Barbara E. Taylor of Frederick. He graduated from Urbana High School in 2006 and was employed with Pest Now of Ijamsville, Maryland. Adam is survived by his brothers and sisters, Bunny and Eugene Rose, Sheryl Taylor, Jennifer and John East, Donna Taylor, Trish and Ryan Bates, Andy and Shannon Taylor, Cheryl Taylor-Howell and Oneil Howell, all of Frederick, and Angela Long of Cleveland, OH and Luke Long of Oakland Park, FL. He is also survived by his grandmother, Jeanette Long of Ijamsville; nieces and nephews, Heather Strevig, Bailey and Abbi Sartori, McKenna Taylor, Miles and Dylan East, CJ Haslam, Brooke and Calvin Taylor, Donna and Zach Bates and Mya Howell; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Adam was preceded in death by his brother, Mike L. Taylor, maternal grandparents, John and Violet Winston and paternal grandparents, Wayne and Dantes Shaffer. Adam's wishes were to donate his organs so that other's might have the chance to live and in this way Adam will live on. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 4-6 & 7-9 pm at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 10 am on Monday at the funeral home. Bishop Marcus Cicerone of Urbana Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. A luncheon will be held following the services at the Urbana Fire Department.
