Mrs. Doris Jane Keller, 81, of Frederick, known by her family and friends as Jane or Janie, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at her home. She was the loving wife of 57 years to Charles C. Keller. Born in Buckeystown on March 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Edith Hawn Derry. Jane was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1951. She had retried after 35 years with the C & P Telephone Company, now Verizon. After retirement she had worked as a cashier for First National Bank now M & T. Jane was a life long active member of the Buckeystown United Methodist Church, having served as a Sunday School Teacher, president of the Woman Society, as well as the treasurer and financial secretary. She was a member of AARP Chapter 636, Frederick, Frederick Woman Republican Club, and the Telephone Pioneers. Surviving in addition to her husband is one brother, James A. Derry, of FL, daughter-in-law, Kathleen Roberts and husband David, of Thurmont, grandchildren, Katelyn Marie Casperson and husband Andrew, of NC and Kyle Bradley Keller, of Thurmont, brother-in-law, Jerry Keller, of Frederick, and sisters-in-law, Patsy Nicholson and husband Harry, of Monterey, CA, Gloria Rice and husband Russell, of Frederick, Doris Keller, of Frederick and Nancy Derry Swomley, of Middletown, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Neil Bradley Keller, who died in 1995, silblings Ruth, Mildred, Ann, Myrtle and Dick. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mark Goldstein and staff at the FMH Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice. Jane loved each and everyone more than you will ever know. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at the Buckeystown United Methodist Church, 3440 Buckeystown Pike. Funeral services will be held at the church at 10 a.m., on Monday, February 16, 2015. Her pastor, The Rev. Cindy Caldwell, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Buckeystown United Methodist Church, P. O.
