Marjorie Mcmanus Vincent

Marjorie McManus Vincent, 87 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted wife of 36 years to James G. Vincent, who passed away in 1988. Born on March 27, 1927, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James I. and Mary (Smith) McManus. In 1949, Marjorie graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University earning a Bachelors' of Arts in Biology. She worked at Hynson, Westcott & Dunning Pharmaceuticals in Baltimore until she married in 1954. She then worked in the Hematology Department at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD until becoming a devoted mother. She was the last of 10 children to pass away. She is survived by her four daughters and two sons'-in-law, Ann Keeney and husband Harvey of Waynesboro, PA, Rita Vincent, Mary Sipe and husband Dan, and Paula Vincent, all residents of Frederick, MD; two grandchildren, Colin and Delia Sipe; and many nieces and nephews. Gracious in death as in life, Marjorie gifted her body to the University of Maryland School of Medicine for the advancement of medical science. A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at 11 am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Community, 4103 Prices Distillery Road, Ijamsville, MD 21754. Reverend Michael Jendrek will preside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Rev. Joseph L.
