Born July 25, 1980, in Frederick, MD, Joshua L. Windsor, age 34, left this earth on March 5, 2015, as a result of an accident at his home near Walkersville, MD. He was the beloved son of James L. and Janet G. Windsor also of Walkersville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents Billy V. and Evelyn Gibson of Charlotte, NC; brother Justin M. Windsor, Leigh Lana Soliwoda, and niece Coraleigh Jane Windsor of Urbana, MD; great aunt Harriet E. Wachter and cousin Dale L. Wachter of Urbana, MD, aunts Deborah S. Gibson and Donna C. Gibson, cousins Derek and Dylan Clifton all from Alexandria, Virginia; and Uncle Eric V. Gibson of Charlotte, NC. Joshua had a special place in his heart for his niece Coraleigh and his Maine Coon cats. Joshua represented at least five generations of Windsors from Frederick County and graduated from Walkersville High School in 1998. He later attended Towson University and received a BS degree in Information Management in 2008. Joshua had a passion for keeping current with world events and technology. His most recent employment was as a Helpdesk Analyst for Bechtel Corporation. He was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Joshua was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He inherited his love for the outdoors at a very early age from his father with whom he spent many memorable days in the field. Joshua was a Chesapeake Bay waterman, Mustang collector, avid gardener, an accomplished BBQ pitmaster, and hot sauce aficionado. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
